Your Role and Responsibilities. As a Senior Enterprise Architect in IBM Consulting, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving the development of comprehensive enterprise architecture solutions. You will guide clients in adopting hybrid cloud models and ensuring that technology solutions align with their business objectives. You will lead a collaborative team to define solutions, execute proof of concepts, and ensure that the architecture supports business transformation.

Your key responsibilities include.

1. Solution Design & Development. Design and deliver scalable enterprise architecture solutions that meet the client’s needs, driving innovative technology strategies.
2. Client Engagement. Work closely with both internal IBM teams and client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
3. Hands-On Leadership. Oversee the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring that architectural plans are executed correctly. You will be involved in building proofs of concept, guiding teams through technical decisions, and ensuring quality at all stages.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with various business and technical stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and executive teams, to design solutions that support business objectives.
5. Agile Delivery. Lead teams in delivering solutions using agile methodologies, ensuring that best practices are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.
6. Continuous Innovation. Stay up to date with evolving technology trends, especially within cloud technologies and financial services, and apply this knowledge to deliver cutting-edge solutions for clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Extensive Experience in Financial Services. Minimum of 15 years experience working on Financial Services Sector projects, particularly in core banking, payments, H2H, and web channels.
2. Proven Track Record. Experience managing and delivering large-scale banking technology solutions across multiple stakeholders.
3. Expertise in Hybrid Cloud Solutions. Demonstrated ability to define and implement hybrid cloud architectures that meet the needs of modern enterprises.
4. Enterprise Architecture Knowledge. Strong experience in enterprise architecture practices, especially related to agile delivery models.
5. Cloud and IT Certification. Cloud-related certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), or Enterprise Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are highly desirable.
6. Leadership in Technology Strategy. Ability to drive innovation and apply technology solutions to accelerate client success.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Certification in Cloud Solutions. Additional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) will be a plus.
2. Enterprise Architecture Frameworks. Familiarity with TOGAF or other architecture frameworks is a strong advantage.
3. Experience in Agile Methodologies. Ability to work in an agile environment, delivering solutions iteratively and driving continuous improvement.
