In this role, you will manage assigned territories and customers to achieve annual sales targets while building strong relationships and understanding customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation. Identify and generate inquiries from new and existing customers for various flow meters, including Coriolis, Electro-magnetic, Vortex, Density/Viscosity, and Clamp-on Ultrasonic meters.
- Customer Engagement. Maintain a healthy rapport with customers, understanding their requirements, and exploring opportunities for additional products or services.
- Sales Cycle Collaboration. Collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, ensuring seamless communication and support.
- Product Selection Assistance. Guide customers in selecting optimal products based on their specifications, lead times, and budgetary requirements.
- Quotation Follow-Up. Proactively follow up on quotations to secure orders and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Order Management. Verify that purchase orders align with financial and technical proposals, resolving any issues that arise during the order cycle.
- Record Keeping. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in CRM and other required tools.
- Liaison Role. Act as a liaison between customers, sales offices, and manufacturing facilities.
- Sales Forecasting. Meet monthly and yearly budget forecasts while continuously seeking new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum 7 to 10 years of proven experience in the industrial automation/instrumentation field.
- Knowledge Base. Basic understanding of industrial processes, industry verticals, and the sales cycle, along with knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
- Technical Proficiency. Familiarity with instrumentation and proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Negotiation Skills. Ability to negotiate effectively and collaborate with internal partners and customers.
- Leadership. Demonstrated capability to lead change and alignment on new concepts through self-motivation and commitment.
- Team Player. Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with team members.
- Analytical Skills. Strong analytical abilities to assess and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational Background. Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical).
- Industry Knowledge. Experience with flow meters is a significant advantage.
