Join our dynamic team at Microsoft as a Senior Software/DevOps Engineer within Project Operations Systems Engineering. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in deploying and maintaining our service, ensuring a high-quality experience for our hundreds of thousands of Project Operations customers. You'll collaborate across functional teams to lead the release, deployment, automation, and integration of our rapidly growing service. Additionally, you'll drive improvements in developer tooling, ensure security, privacy, and compliance, and work closely with leadership to guarantee business continuity for Microsoft and our customers.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and product managers to deliver the service globally on a monthly cadence, including in specialized environments like GCC and Mooncake.
- Develop and execute a strategy for building and managing a fully automated CI/CD pipeline, involving collaboration with internal and external teams and leveraging new APIs.
- Provide technical guidance to senior leadership on evolving the development toolset to enhance developer efficiency, including creating new tools and scripts.
- Enhance telemetry and monitoring systems to proactively detect issues in livesite, building PowerBI reports to aid in issue identification.
- Maintain documentation and conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions across the product group.
- Oversee security, privacy, and compliance reviews, driving S360 compliance.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of technical engineering experience, OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- 2+ years of experience with enterprise software, including understanding of change management, privacy, security, and compliance.
Preferred
- Experience with Service Fabric deployment infrastructure.
- Proficiency in PowerBI and Power Query for building complex reports.
- Working understanding of Kubernetes/DevContainer.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or other CRM software.
- Knowledge of microservices principles.
