Job Description

As a Technical Lead in CI/CD Automation, you will play a pivotal role in driving the build, testing, and deployment of software applications through robust CI/CD automation platforms. You'll lead a team, provide subject matter expertise (SME) support, and ensure adherence to operational shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead an agile team responsible for software application builds, tests, and deployments using CI/CD automation tools.
  • Own technical aspects of CI/CD tools, ensuring high availability across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with application support teams to facilitate seamless deployment and troubleshooting of application codes in DevOps platforms.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies to address current and future challenges.
  • Partner with CI/CD and Cloud engineering teams and technical product managers to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Utilize strong technical acumen to offer alternatives and resolutions for technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience with 2-3 years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and understanding of Linux functionalities.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), and others listed.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and service restoration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 16X7 operational model.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Hat Certifications (RHCE, RHCSA) preferred.
  • Experience in scripting (Bash/Ansible Playbook) on Red Hat Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Ability to collaborate across Product, Architecture, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
