As a Senior Database Administrator (DBA), you will be an integral part of our enterprise DBOps team, responsible for managing and maintaining the enterprise applications that support Logitech’s business groups. This role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to providing high availability and performance across our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration. Serve as the primary system administrator for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and enterprise BI/reporting tools, ensuring system maintenance and availability.
- User Support. Support business and IT users in resolving issues related to system access, availability, and performance.
- Configuration and Troubleshooting. Execute day-to-day configuration changes, troubleshoot issues, and provide 24/7 support for our platforms.
- Application Management. Perform application patching, cloning, upgrades, and typical management activities for Oracle EBS.
- BI Tool Administration. Administer and support enterprise BI tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, and Pentaho.
- Technical Guidance. Provide technical guidance for systems and process optimization opportunities.
Key Qualifications
- 7-12 years of experience in managing Oracle Applications (R12.2) in production and development environments.
- Proficiency in managing ETL tools like Pentaho.
- Experience with database management systems including MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau, OBIEE, and Snowflake DB administration.
- Experience in automation and process optimization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift environment to collaborate with global IT and business teams.
Preferred Skills and Behaviors
- Experience with AWS and OCI technologies and services.
