Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Data Scientist to join our Automotive Data Science team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external clients and data providers, leveraging predictive analytics and advanced modeling techniques to drive strategic insights and decision-making. You will be instrumental in supporting Retail and After Sales Service businesses for all OEMs by developing solutions across the Customer Journey, focusing on Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Data Science projects from inception to insights, including understanding business requirements, exploratory data analysis, data processing, feature engineering, and building predictive models.
  • Utilize AI, ML, and DL techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, tree-based algorithms, support vector machines, neural networks, recommender systems, and attribution modeling to address complex business challenges.
  • Enhance existing methodologies by developing new data sources and features, testing model improvements, and fine-tuning parameters for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, ensuring scalability of data-driven solutions.
  • Present insights and actionable recommendations to diverse audiences, adapting your communication style to suit varying technical backgrounds.
  • Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Data Scientist, successfully deploying Data Science projects.
  • Proficiency in coding with Python, PySpark, SAS, and SQL (5+ years).
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
  • Familiarity with LLM, Generative AI, and cloud systems (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing scalable analytical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A motivated, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
