As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and fine-tuning LLMs and AI agents that power our intelligent travel assistant. You will work on state-of-the-art generative AI models, real-time decision-making algorithms, and NLP techniques to improve search relevance, personalization, and overall customer experience. Your contributions will directly influence how travelers discover, book, and manage their journeys with MakeMyTrip.

Key Responsibilities

1. LLM & AI Agent Development. Design, develop, and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) to enhance AI-powered travel assistants and dynamic personalization features.
2. Generative AI Solutions. Build generative AI models for virtual travel experiences, intelligent search, and dynamic pricing strategies.
3. Real-Time Decision Making. Implement advanced NLP techniques to improve search relevance, chatbot interactions, and recommendation systems.
4. Scalability & Performance. Work with large-scale data pipelines and scalable AI solutions to serve millions of travelers globally.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to integrate AI models into production and optimize user experiences.

Qualifications

1. Education. Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) from Tier 1 institutes (IITs/IIITs/NITs). A Master’s (MS) or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is highly preferred.
