We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Consulting Technology team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, leveraging data to drive strategic insights, improve operational efficiency, and enhance decision-making processes. Your expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling will be crucial in transforming complex business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, extracting meaningful insights from various data sources using SQL.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, translating them into actionable technical specifications.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation, metadata, and technical documentation.
- Identify patterns and trends in user data to uncover opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance the impact of analytics within Gartner Consulting.
- Support version control and documentation processes to maintain consistency in data management.
- Communicate complex data findings in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics). A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with expertise in SQL and data querying.
- Proven experience in dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake (a plus).
- Experience in Python for data manipulation and analysis (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization (a plus).
- Solid communication skills to effectively convey insights to diverse audiences.
- A track record of working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with an ability to prioritize and execute efficiently.
