As a Senior Data Analyst at Epsilon, you’ll be a critical part of our Analytics team, blending data science and business intelligence to drive insights for our platform offerings. You will leverage big data, advanced analytics tools, and emerging technologies to help our clients make informed decisions. This role offers you an exciting opportunity to grow in a collaborative and dynamic environment while applying your expertise in Python, SQL, and data science.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical frameworks and models to solve complex business problems.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and insights.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and report statistically significant results.
- Present data-driven insights to clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and actionable recommendations.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on technical and problem-solving aspects.
- Design and recommend the best data models and algorithms, advocating for data-driven decisions across business units.
- Structure hypotheses, build thoughtful analyses, and develop data models to bring clarity to business problems.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Analytics).
- 5-8 years of experience in analytics, with a preference for marketing analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAS.
- Hands-on experience in Data Science, including predictive modeling and machine learning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and data science projects.
