Job Outline

1. Business Domain Expertise. Gain a deep understanding of various business domains such as airline operations, passenger services, HR, and finance.
2. Data Analysis. Collaborate with product owners and business users to analyze operational data and define transformation rules to ensure analytical solutions meet business requirements.
3. Data Management. Maintain data repositories, data models, and interfaces to ensure the availability and quality of data for analytical reporting.
4. Documentation. Develop and maintain data documentation artifacts, including data dictionaries and business glossaries.
5. Solution Design. Propose and document data interfaces, transformation rules, and data models to meet analytical requirements.
6. Quality Assurance. Collaborate with quality engineers to validate data and ensure it meets stakeholders' analytical needs.
7. Continuous Learning. Stay updated on evolving data and analytics trends to assess data quality and maintain up-to-date business glossaries.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with specialization or electives in Data & Analytics preferred.
2. Experience. Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in organizations of similar size and complexity.
3. Industry Knowledge. Experience in the airline industry or supporting functions such as HR or finance is preferred.

Key Technologies/Tools

• Big Data & Distributed Processing: Experience with querying HDFS or ADLS file storage systems, Hive, H-Base, ElasticSearch, and AVRO/PARQUET file formats.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0, MicroStrategy, and Power BI.
