As a Senior Consultant in Project Management at Infosys, you will play a critical role in driving large-scale integration projects and managing complex portfolios. Your expertise will help us build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery and continuous improvement in our operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with executive leaders and portfolio stakeholders to facilitate effective resource planning and project pipeline decisions.
- Lead governance and project status review meetings, identifying variances and coordinating corrective actions with all stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting for projects and programs within the portfolio.
- Ensure transparency of portfolio investments, managing financials, and monitoring actuals against budgets.
- Supervise assigned staff across multiple projects and operations, ensuring alignment towards common objectives affecting various business areas.
- Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency in execution and reporting.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions at program and project levels, focusing on continuous service improvements within the PMO and supporting service areas.
- Drive presales activities and provide thought leadership in API and Microservices solution delivery.
- Collaborate with teams to understand customer requirements and develop solution architecture utilizing microservices.
Essential Skills
- Experience. 8+ years in IT, with a focus on large program and portfolio management.
- Technical Expertise. Proficiency in handling APIs, Microservices, and integration programs.
- Project Management. Strong background in implementing project management best practices and tools.
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale integration projects, particularly using API and Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile DevOps methodologies, along with open-source technologies for development and deployment.
- Ability to engage with senior management in advisory roles regarding API/Microservices strategy and presales activities.
