Job Description

As a Senior Account Executive within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales team, you will serve as a trusted advisor and competitive seller to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Your primary responsibility will be to drive customer success by leveraging Google’s advertising solutions to help businesses achieve their marketing goals. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media sales, digital advertising, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context.
  • Experience selling against traditional and digital media advertising solutions.
  • Knowledge of traditional and contemporary or online marketing strategy and tactics (e.g., product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas).
  • Ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a customer engagement strategy.
  • Ability to leverage business acumen to strategically assess and help solve client needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management. Build and nurture relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Gain a deep understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics.
  2. Strategic Planning. Develop and execute a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients. Lead cross-functional teams within Google to collaborate on projects and ensure client success.
  3. Business Growth. Plan and achieve growth goals through effective presentations of Google advertising products/solutions tailored to meet clients’ marketing objectives.
  4. Data-Driven Insights. Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations aligned with customer goals. Identify high-impact opportunities and present clear recommendations to clients.
  5. Product Knowledge. Build expertise in Google advertising products and their applications across various marketing goals.
