As a Security Engineer at Spectro Cloud, you’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining the security of our cutting-edge Palette platform, which manages both infrastructure and applications. You will ensure the compliance and security of GoLang-based microservices, vital to the platform’s operations.

You will handle security vulnerability assessments, remedial actions, and create secure container images. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our container images and build processes remain secure and compliant.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensuring security compliance of GoLang-based microservices at the core of the platform.
• Reviewing and analyzing security vulnerability reports and addressing impacted features.
• Automating security processes and implementing rigorous testing.
• Producing and securing container images.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to secure container builds and optimize security solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in GoLang programming and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes (CKA or CKAD certification preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Linux commands, REST APIs, and SQL databases (like MongoDB).
• Familiarity with deploying applications to Kubernetes, troubleshooting, and maintaining virtual machines.

Preferred Skills

• CKA or CKAD certification highly preferred.
• Familiarity with virtual machine integration in software solutions.
