We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team during an exciting phase of organizational transformation. As part of our efforts to adopt Agile software engineering practices, you will play a crucial role in guiding teams and the organization through the adoption and maturation of Agile methodologies. This is a high-impact opportunity where you will help us drive innovation, enhance customer experiences, and transform our product development into a platform-centric software engineering approach.
In this role, you will have the chance to lead a cross-functional team, navigating the nuances of Agile principles in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, ensuring that our teams are equipped to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Coaching and Guiding Teams. Inspire and coach teams to adopt Agile/Scrum practices, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions. Help teams self-organize, fostering an environment where collaboration thrives.
- Scrum Maturity Assessment. Assess the Scrum maturity level of the team and organization, and work to advance the team’s practices at a sustainable pace, aligning with the organization’s goals.
- Removing Impediments. Proactively identify and address obstacles that hinder progress, facilitating problem-solving and ensuring that the team remains focused on achieving sprint goals.
- Building Trusting Environments. Create a safe and open space where team members feel empowered to raise issues and work collaboratively to resolve them. Foster an atmosphere of respect and psychological safety.
- Facilitation of Agile Practices. Lead key Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, ensuring effective communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Communication and Transparency. Ensure effective communication both internally and externally, improving transparency and streamlining information flow across teams. Shield the team from unnecessary distractions and external interferences.
- Collaboration with Product Owner. Support and coach the Product Owner on maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring alignment between the development team’s capacity and the prioritized work.
- Continuous Improvement. Lead the team in identifying opportunities for improvement, helping them take ownership of their actions and outcomes, and facilitating retrospectives to drive incremental enhancements in both processes and results.
- Servant Leadership. Lead by example, applying servant leadership principles to support the team in achieving their goals, while fostering a collaborative and empowering work culture.
Basic Qualifications
- First-Level Scrum Master Certification (PSM I). Demonstrated understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
