As a Package Consultant at IBM, you will tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. This role involves designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will utilize a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to integrate packaged technology into clients' business environments effectively and achieve business results.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP Data Migration. Lead SAP Data Migration, Cutover Planning, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Business Consulting, and Project Management roles.
- Project Success. Ensure project success in Data Migration using SAP BODS Business Objects Data Services and BackOffice Associates Tools and Methodology.
- Feature Development. Drive new feature development and enhancements across various SAP modules such as SAP BW/BI, SAP HANA, SAP Information Steward, SAP Finance, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP SRM, SAP MDM, SCM Supply Chain Management, Business Intelligence, and MDM Master Data Management.
- Vertical Expertise. Manage responsibilities across Professional Services, Pharmaceutical, Finance, Banking, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Vendors, Retail, Materials, Tax, Treasury, and Telecom verticals.
- Team Leadership. Lead a team of offshore and onsite developers, ensuring effective project delivery.
- Collaborative Teamwork. Work effectively in time-sensitive environments as an essential member of any data migration team.
Qualifications. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Educational Background. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field with 10+ years of IT experience in SAP Data Migration, Data Analysis, Data Audits, Process Management, Business Analysis, ECM, Business Process Re-engineering, RFPs, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis and Modeling, and Testing of enterprise-wide client/server and Web-based applications.
- Certifications. Certified in BackOffice Associates Data Migration and ETL Tools (e.g., Data StagingWarehouse, DataGarage, EZMap, DataDialysis, BDCdirect, DataProfiler, DataConstructionServer, dDup, SourceTrack, CranPort).
- Industry Experience. Extensive experience in Finance, SCM, SRM, Banking, Tax, Treasury, Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, and Telecom verticals.
- Technical Skills. Expertise in Cutover Planning, Project Planning, Project Design, Gathering Business and Functional requirements, creating functional specifications, and Use case data flow diagrams.
- SAP Module Experience. Worked with SAP Finance, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP SCM, SAP MDM, SAP Project Systems, Vendors, Business Objects, OBIEE, SAP R/3, Business Warehouse BW 7.0, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Microsoft Office Proficiency. Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and other MS Office products for data analysis, project schedules, business process modeling, requirement/issues documentation, and customer training.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise. Additional Industry Certifications (not specified in the job listing).
