Job Description

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, you will leverage your expertise in marketing technologies to design and implement transformative customer experience solutions. Your role involves ensuring the successful deployment of marketing technology implementations while managing client relationships, project delivery, and business development activities. You will be pivotal in orchestrating marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and brand success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative customer experience strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing technologies.
  • Ensure successful execution of marketing technology projects by focusing on client relationships, project milestones, resource management, and overall program health.
  • Plan, estimate, and manage project delivery work, including scope, budget, and resource allocation (on-shore and off-shore).
  • Identify and manage key dependencies, issues, and risks to ensure project success.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships, identify follow-on project opportunities, and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Participate in sales calls, assist in proposal development, and deliver compelling client presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of solution/program offering approaches, methodologies, and business development tools.
  • Manage business requirements, project ideation, and solution plan definition.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in deploying and relaunching marketing applications (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Marketo) and Customer Data Platform technologies (Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform).
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle implementation experience using SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
  • 3+ years of project management experience delivering technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of relevant work experience).

Language Requirements

  • English proficiency is required for interacting with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other international locations.

Additional Skills

  • Spoken and written French.
  • Experience with marketing campaign design, personalization, and data orchestration technologies (Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, etc.).
  • Experience with algorithmic decisioning and interactive management.

Leadership and Communication

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of managing client accounts and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or digital agency with demonstrated creativity and innovation.
