Job Description

As a Salesforce Marketing and Data Cloud Senior Developer at Accenture, you will leverage your marketing technology and data cloud expertise to design and implement innovative customer experience strategies for global clients. You will be an integral part of a team that transforms the way clients engage with customers, combining Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, and other leading technologies to build customer-centric solutions that drive results.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with full lifecycle marketing technology implementations, and a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, and/or Oracle Marketing Cloud. You will have a key role in project management, working directly with clients to ensure successful delivery, while also contributing to business development efforts and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Experience Strategy. Work with clients to design and implement marketing technologies that deliver seamless, personalized customer experiences at scale. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other key platforms.
  2. Project Delivery. Ensure successful delivery of marketing technology implementations, including managing client relationships, financials, project milestones, resource planning, scope, and overall program health.
  3. Tactical Deployment. Lead the deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, and other related technologies. Ensure the effective integration of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Data Orchestration solutions.
  4. Business Development. Contribute to the business development process by participating in sales calls, assisting in proposal development, and delivering client presentations. Identify and pursue follow-on project opportunities to grow client relationships and project portfolios.
  5. Collaboration. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including offshore teams, to develop solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
  6. Solution Planning. Manage business requirements, solution planning, and work on defining project scopes and deliverables, ensuring all dependencies, risks, and issues are tracked and managed effectively.
  7. Campaign Management. Work on marketing campaign design, implementation, and execution, ensuring that the campaigns are aligned with client goals and deliver tangible results.
  8. Continuous Improvement. Contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and tools for solution development, and help refine internal capabilities and processes to improve the customer experience.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle implementation using various SDLC methodologies (including Waterfall and Agile).
  • 5+ years of experience in the deployment or re-launch of marketing applications such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Personalization platforms (e.g., Rich Relevance, Adobe Target), MDM platforms (e.g., Reltio, Talend), and/or iPaaS technologies (e.g., Mulesoft, SnapLogic).
  • 2+ years of experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Salesforce Data Cloud or Adobe Experience Platform.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (12+ years).
  • Strong proficiency in English for effective communication with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and globally.
  • Spoken and written French is a strong plus, given the bilingual nature of some client interactions.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with marketing campaign management, from design to execution.
  • Expertise in algorithmic decisioning or interactive management within marketing technology platforms.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage client accounts and lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Consulting or digital agency experience, demonstrating creativity, responsibility, and an innovative approach to marketing technology.
  • Experience with Data Orchestration, Personalization technologies, and other marketing solutions such as MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, and SnapLogic.
