Job Description

As a Sales Operations Associate, you will be at the heart of our Go-To-Market Sales Strategy & Operations organization. This role involves partnering with senior sales executives to drive revenue growth, enhance sales productivity, and deliver valuable customer insights. You’ll play a crucial role in optimizing sales operations, leading strategic initiatives, and providing data-driven recommendations to shape LinkedIn’s go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Performance Tracking. Monitor and analyze business performance, offering insights and recommendations to support sales leadership in forecasting and decision-making.
  2. Operational Leadership. Manage key operational processes including quota management, territory allocation, audits, and dashboard development. Ensure data accuracy and maintain reports.
  3. Strategic Advising. Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to senior sales executives to help them achieve strategic priorities and optimize their business operations.
  4. Planning and Strategy. Drive strategic planning processes, including customer segmentation, headcount planning, financial and territory planning, and quota setting.
  5. Cross-Functional Projects. Lead and offer recommendations on various strategic projects, collaborating with global sales operations partners and presenting findings to executives.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration. Build and maintain strong relationships with peers in Sales Operations and other cross-functional teams (e.g., business operations, HR, finance) to achieve shared objectives.
  7. Travel. Occasional travel required (approximately 5 to 10 trips per year).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or related practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, finance, management consulting, or a similar analytical/operational role.
  • 2+ years of experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional experience with SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to use data insights to drive decision-making and influence outcomes.
  • Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives.
  • Strong partnership-building skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Presto, Anaplan, and global program management or business transformation.
  • Innovative mindset with a drive to challenge the status quo and solve complex problems.
