Job Description

As a Quality Engineering (SDET) member, you'll use agile methodologies to lead customer engagements that drive automated testing and enhance product quality. We're looking for critical thinkers with a passion for understanding customer needs and translating them into effective test plans.

Your Impact

  1. Automation Foundation. Establish a robust automation tech foundation for engineering teams to follow, ensuring comprehensive testing across the testing pyramid.
  2. Integration Tests. Participate in Test Design Review Boards to create integration test plans focused on functionality, usability, and high-impact projects.
  3. Customer Engagement. Connect with customers to understand real-world usage, enabling you to build relevant test cases.
  4. Cross-Product Testing. Prioritize and execute tests that impact multiple products, advocating for customer improvements.
  5. Mentorship. Provide leadership and mentorship within your scrum teams, ensuring high standards of quality are met.

Required Skills

  1. Education. A related technical degree is required.
  2. Experience. 15 years in software engineering, quality engineering, usability, or business analysis.
  3. Programming Proficiency. Highly proficient in JavaScript and Java.
  4. Automation Experience. Strong experience with both UI and backend automation.
  5. OOP Knowledge. Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  6. Agile Methodology. Familiarity with agile development processes.
  7. Developer Tools. Experience with tools like Git, Maven, and Eclipse IDE.
  8. Database Skills. Good grasp of relational databases and SQL.
