We are looking for a skilled Python Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of implementing and extending existing automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality, efficient, and robust testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and extend automation frameworks using Python with Selenium to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct API testing to validate backend services, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Perform white box testing to verify internal software components and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and detail requirements, creating comprehensive test documents such as Test Plans, Scenarios, and Test Cases.
• Embrace and advocate for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies using tools like Cucumber, enhancing collaboration between developers and testers.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Python programming, specifically with Selenium for web automation.
• Strong experience with API testing tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of white box testing principles and the ability to perform code-level analysis and testing.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave, and the ability to implement and maintain BDD test suites.
• Excellent documentation skills to produce clear and detailed test artifacts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies.
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
