As a Project Manager/Technical Project Manager at IGT Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects involving .NET and Java technologies. You will oversee project planning and execution, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and designers.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging communication and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address concerns, and provide feedback.
Technical Oversight
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams working with .NET and Java technologies.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
- Review technical designs and architecture decisions, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as necessary, contributing to root cause analysis and proposing solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
- Maintain project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Generate regular progress reports and metrics for project stakeholders.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and effectively resolve conflicts and issues within the project team.
- Govern all types of projects, including staff augmentation, development, and support & maintenance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, with a focus on proactive risk management strategies.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Responsibilities
- DevOps Practices. Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Cloud Computing. Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Costing and Budgeting. Develop detailed budgets and track costs regularly.
