As a Project Manager at HCL Tech, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project management, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality deliverables and timely execution. You will manage medium to large-scale projects, interacting directly with customers to understand their needs and expectations. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead and mentor peers, and proactive engagement with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and lead project plans for medium to large projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Oversee multiple projects of varying sizes, providing guidance and mentoring to junior project managers.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables, meeting customer expectations on functionality and timelines.
• Provide recommendations and implement strategies to ensure project success within specific product or functional areas.
• Act as the primary interface with customers, maintaining regular and proactive communication to address concerns promptly.
• Participate in presales activities as required, contributing to project scoping and customer engagement.
• Deliver customer and project reporting, including executive-level interface and reporting.
• Coach and mentor less experienced project managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Manage project financials and ensure compliance with project governance frameworks.
• Participate in organizational initiatives and departmental activities as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

1. Communication. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proactive in customer interactions.
2. Customer Engagement. Direct engagement with customers, ensuring an engaging and professional presence.
3. Organizational Skills. Effective time management, adept at setting priorities and managing multiple tasks.

6. Tools and Systems. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Suite, SharePoint, Adobe, and Webex.
7. Project Management Systems. Experience with project management tools for planning and time management, as well as internal client systems.
8. Professional Certifications. Mandatory. Prince2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Master's in Project Management, PMP, or equivalent.
