Key Responsibilities

• Review project delivery performance regularly and contribute to improving systems, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Take corrective actions as needed.
• Scope and initiate projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders, defining objectives, milestones, and responsibilities.
• Develop realistic and properly resourced project plans.
• Manage project stakeholders to achieve smooth implementation and quick realization of benefits.
• Provide timely, accurate project information and reporting to the Project Sponsor, stakeholders, and steering board members.
• Develop and organize implementation and training concepts as required.

SkyCargo Specific

• Lead the development of dynamic simulations and data models to address complex operational problems.
• Support senior management in strategic decision-making on operational processes, facility design changes, and commercial decisions.
• Implement and enhance oversight and governance processes to align warehouse capacity and capabilities with forecasting models.
• Propose adjustments to operational processes and material handling systems to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in flight operations, air cargo, or logistics.
• Experience in air cargo terminal operations or logistics hub, with a sound understanding of air cargo operations and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in leading mid to large-size projects related to air cargo terminal development and material handling systems.
• Experience in optimizing space and resource utilization in an air cargo terminal environment.

Education

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field.

Skills

• Expert knowledge of airline industry standards and core business functions.
• Practical and innovative, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
• Experience with project management tools, change implementation planning, systems development management, and business analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Certifications

• Recognized professional Project Management qualification, preferably PMP certified.
