Job Description

As a Project Lead at Infosys, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of cutting-edge software solutions for Polestar’s electric vehicle technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead IoT, Telematics, and Software Development projects within the automotive sector, specifically focusing on Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies. You will be working in a dynamic, high-performance team to solve real-world mobility challenges while delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects related to Automotive Telematics, IoT, and Electric Vehicle technologies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client requirements. Oversee project scope, planning, execution, and quality management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Polestar, managing relationships, understanding business requirements, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with their strategic goals. Provide strategic recommendations and drive client satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering collaboration and ensuring the team works efficiently to deliver solutions. Promote continuous learning and adhere to Agile methodologies to drive productivity.
  • Work with teams to create and implement software solutions in the automotive domain, focusing on key areas such as Telematics, IoT, and EV technology. Ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the latest industry standards.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies in automotive, IoT, and EV fields. Identify new technological trends and incorporate them into projects, ensuring Polestar stays at the forefront of sustainable mobility.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are cost-effective and meet financial goals. Understand and apply appropriate pricing models for various project types.
  • Apply Agile practices, ensuring fast delivery of high-quality software. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive, IoT, or electric vehicle domains, with a strong understanding of Telematics and connected car technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Strong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience in automotive software development, IoT technologies, and the application of EV-related technologies. Experience with embedded systems, connected devices, and real-time systems will be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills. Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical issues and deliver practical, effective solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automotive systems, vehicle connectivity, and electric mobility solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong awareness of the latest automotive technology trends, including IoT, Telematics, Electric Vehicles, and Connected Car Technologies.
  • Exposure to multiple industries (e.g., IoT, telecommunications, or mobility sectors) will be advantageous.
