Job Description

As a Program Manager at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing carrier performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) for MENA lanes, both inbound and outbound. You will facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including carriers, hubs, warehouses, and Amazon stakeholders, to ensure smooth operations and delivery performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues affecting customer/vendor/seller experience, proposing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and analyzing data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily queries and requests from carriers and internal stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on carrier-related KPI metrics, analyze data, and communicate trends and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Engage with relay operations centers to ensure timely support for carrier operations.
  • Collaborate with fulfillment centers (FCs) to align shipments and ensure seamless inbound operations.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects with carriers, FCs, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide volume forecasts to carriers during peak seasons.
  • Document and measure standard work within the country and trading lanes to improve reliability and performance.
  • Write SQL queries, analyze data, and implement data visualization tools for reporting and analysis.

About The Team

Amazon SEND is a cross-border shipping platform that enables sellers to book, pay, and track cross-border FBA shipments within Amazon Seller Central in different modes (Air and ocean freight).

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with analytical platforms.
  • Ability to engage with cross-border stakeholders and work in a global team across time zones.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
  • Experience with MS Access and SQL.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and writing clear requirement documents.
  • PMP/Six Sigma or Project Management certification.
  • Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA).
