As a Program Manager Strategy & Operations, you will play a critical role in driving programs of strategic importance for the Salesforce Professional Services Global Delivery Center (GDC). Your responsibilities will encompass strategy implementation, program planning, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Management. Drive programs that are vital to the Salesforce GDC, conceptualizing and evaluating program needs, making informed recommendations, and overseeing implementation upon approval.
- Stakeholder Collaboration. Work closely with stakeholders, sponsors, and cross-functional teams to develop scope, deliverables, resources, and timelines for new initiatives.
- Risk Management. Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects, proactively communicating status and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Reporting & Analysis. Analyze program risks, produce reports for managers and stakeholders, and develop management strategies to engage collaborators in project decisions and execution.
- Agile Methodologies. Understand and apply Agile-certified Scrum processes, demonstrating the traits of a successful Scrum Master.
- Project Timeline Management. Build project timelines to plan, lead, and report on progress within the project environment.
- Vendor Coordination. Collaborate with vendors to manage programs related to subcontractors.
Requirements
- Experience. 5+ years in program management and 10+ years in IT, with a strong asset being 3+ years of experience in Salesforce projects/products.
- Executive Collaboration. Proven ability to work with senior executives, demonstrating strategic understanding of business needs.
- CRM Knowledge. Hands-on experience with CRM software products (Salesforce CRM, Siebel, etc.) is a strong asset.
- Project Management Tools. Familiarity with PM tools like JIRA or MS Project.
- Presentation Skills. Adept at building presentations that communicate strategic direction across the organization.
- Excel Proficiency. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data cleansing, and manipulation.
- Multitasking. Ability to manage multiple projects/programs while mentoring new hires.
