About Corp Eng

Corp Eng is the team behind Google’s critical infrastructure. We design, build, secure, and operate the systems that keep Google running smoothly. Our mission is to provide Googlers with the reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure needed to do their best work, ensuring we deliver world-leading solutions that enhance Google’s products and services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Liberal Arts, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• 2 years of experience in investigative roles such as management consulting, investment banking, business intelligence, data science, corporate strategy, or financial and headcount management.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Graduate degree in Management, Technical, or Engineering fields.
• Understanding of technology delivery processes.
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively, presenting data in a compelling manner.
• Proven track record in driving and prioritizing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, leading complex initiatives.
• Excellent skills in data analysis, logical thinking, and presentation development.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate and Partner. Work closely with Corp Eng leadership and Chiefs of Staff both regionally and globally. Partner with various Corp Eng pillars, Finance, and the Vendor Management Office to ensure the success of Corp Eng initiatives.
2. Develop Expertise. Quickly build subject matter expertise to develop hypotheses and recommendations for emerging initiatives and inbound requests. Use business acumen to identify and leverage opportunities.
3. Project Delivery. Manage the delivery of multiple complex projects, ensuring that plans and roadmaps are kept on track and milestones are met on schedule.
4. Quantitative Analysis. Collaborate with Corp Eng India leads and Chiefs of Staff to prioritize and execute quantitative analyses. Support the design and measurement of key performance metrics.
