Job Description

As a Program Manager III, Developer Relations, Core at Google, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing high-impact programs that shape the future of AI adoption and developer engagement across Canada. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive Google's developer-facing initiatives, focusing on AI education, developer ecosystem engagement, and program optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives that promote AI education and track AI adoption within the developer community across North America.
  • Create campaigns that raise awareness and encourage the use of Google’s AI technologies and developer tools.
  • Regularly monitor AI trends and adapt programs to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of developers.
  • Oversee the execution of complex, cross-functional programs aimed at advancing AI adoption and education.
  • Establish clear, reliable timelines and cadences for program reviews, updates, and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, resource utilization, and program velocity across teams.
  • Manage a program portfolio that addresses key business goals and product objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the right resources and support are available for developers.
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams, product managers, and executive stakeholders to drive program success.
  • Act as a liaison between Google’s development teams and external developer communities, ensuring that feedback is communicated and acted upon.
  • Identify areas where change management can accelerate program progress or solve bottlenecks.
  • Work across teams to implement changes that increase program velocity and improve overall program outcomes.
  • Present program updates, insights, and recommendations to executive stakeholders in a clear, concise, and impactful way.
  • Manage key reporting metrics to track the success and impact of programs, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Proven experience working with executive stakeholders to drive program success.
  • Experience managing programs within developer communities or developer ecosystems in canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with a focus on developer engagement.
  • Experience running operations and strategy for large program portfolios, ensuring the alignment of resources and goals.
  • Deep understanding of Google’s developer-facing technologies and platforms, such as cloud services, APIs, or AI tools.
  • Outstanding public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to present technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Strong understanding of change management strategies and their application in fast-paced, multi-team environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range. $139,000 - $207,000 (Base Salary) + Bonus + Equity + Benefits (Note: Salary range is based on locations; salary will vary based on location, experience, and other factors).
