As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Geo Data Operations team is Geo’s global scaled operations arm, providing geo data operational support from data sourcing and moderation, through to data policy, risk management, metrics design and implementation, data intelligence, and external competitive analysis. The team focuses on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- 2 years of experience in Process Improvement, Communication, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Stakeholder Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), with the ability to learn new technologies and approaches.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and develop solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control processes for Geo Data Operations activities.
- Define, monitor, and report on key quality metrics, identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of data collection, processing, and analysis workflows.
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality.
- Implement root cause analysis and corrective action plans to address quality issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
