Job Description

Airtel IoT seeks a dynamic Product Manager to define, lead, and execute the roadmap for our rapidly expanding IoT business. As the driving force behind our IoT product strategy, you will spearhead initiatives to extend our connectivity solutions and explore new use cases beyond connectivity, unlocking new markets and significantly impacting our revenue growth. Your role will involve understanding IoT ecosystems, including devices, connectivity, edge computing, data platforms, and communication technologies. You will analyze market and customer needs, translating them into innovative products to fill gaps in the ecosystem. You will have end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, including service delivery and assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities, define product vision, and devise strategy.
  • Understand customer needs and gather detailed product requirements.
  • Prioritize between long- and short-term challenges, problems, and opportunities based on business rationale to drive product priorities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for vertical product managers and customers, understanding their businesses, defining solutions, and creating actionable plans.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to take products from ideas to launch.
  • Recognize gaps in existing lifecycle journeys and implement strategic fixes.
  • Develop new products and enhance existing ones to meet evolving market demands.

Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech, MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a B2B environment with a strong understanding of enterprise customer lifecycle.

Functional Knowledge

  • Strong Product Management fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of the IoT ecosystem.
  • Data-driven approach towards market identification and product Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
  • Ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry/global trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at managing internal stakeholders and customer interactions.
  • Fast executor, self-starter.
