As a Product / Business Analyst at S&P Global Market Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration. Work with clients and internal teams to identify and analyze business and technical requirements through various techniques such as workshops and interviews.
- Documentation. Document and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements to ensure they are clear, comprehensive, and testable.
- Agile Participation. Engage in Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Design Collaboration. Partner with UI/UX designers to create UX/UI design artefacts (e.g., wireframes, mock-ups).
- User Stories. Write detailed User Stories and acceptance criteria.
- Project Support. Assist in estimation, planning, and project management while providing support to development and QA teams.
- Client Interaction. Handle client-facing documentation and act as a liaison between business and technology groups.
Qualifications
- Experience. 6-8 years as a product/business analyst.
- Skills. Strong writing skills, experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, project management, and proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Technical Knowledge. Experience with SQL is a plus; financial industry experience and domain knowledge in regulatory compliance and capital markets are desirable.
- Education. University degree, with postgraduate education or equivalent experience preferred.
