Job Description

As a Product Management Director at Accenture Song, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital products for our clients. You’ll oversee and drive product strategy and delivery, ensuring impactful results across diverse, complex projects. Your leadership and ability to guide cross-functional teams will be key in bringing compelling product visions to life, while your client-facing expertise will be crucial in managing relationships and driving value creation.

You will work closely with senior executives and be involved in crafting long-term product strategies that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large, cross-functional teams (5-20 members) to deliver complex product initiatives across diverse client sectors.
  • Ensure the product roadmap and features are aligned with business objectives, maximizing client value and user satisfaction.
  • Identify and solve critical product-related problems, ensuring the final product meets business needs and exceeds user expectations.
  • Act as a strategic product thinker, spotting new opportunities in a constantly evolving technical and market landscape.
  • Craft compelling quantitative business cases that tie the impact of products to business goals and prioritized features.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous communication, collecting and integrating feedback into the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and pitch product proposals, contributing to the growth of the product practice.
  • Guide and coach junior and mid-level product managers, fostering career development and skill-building.
  • Negotiate and align project scopes, ensuring a clear understanding of deliverables, timelines, and objectives.
  • Lead the growth of product-focused teams and practices, influencing the strategic direction of the product management discipline.
  • Provide mentorship, leadership, and strategic direction to a diverse group of product managers.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment, guiding teams to execute product vision while ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage conflict within product teams and stakeholders, particularly regarding planning and prioritization.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of product initiatives while maintaining team morale and engagement.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, project delivery, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including mentoring and training junior to mid-level product managers.
  • Proven track record of creating, managing, and delivering successful product roadmaps.
  • Strong client-facing experience, with accountability for product delivery and relationship management at the executive level.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage large teams (5-20 members) and oversee complex product development projects.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Lean, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne).
  • English fluency is required, as the role involves regular interactions with stakeholders across North America and globally.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., business, computer science, engineering).
  • Certification in Agile (e.g., POPM, APM, CSPO).
  • Solid understanding of data-driven decision-making, using analytical tools to guide product strategy and prioritize features.
  • Strong knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and agile frameworks to manage large-scale product teams.
  • Expertise in digital product delivery models from inception to execution.
  • Ability to create content from scratch, including storytelling for product narratives.
  • Previous experience working in consumer tech or digital transformation.
