We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the user experience for our suite of SaaS healthcare applications and services. Your mission is to ensure that our solutions are not only intuitive but also of the highest quality. You'll engage in all stages of the product design journey, from discovery to launch, collaborating with product, engineering, and executive teams to craft inventive, human-centric designs that drive our business objectives forward.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Excellence. Create enterprise workflows and interface solutions by understanding user needs and behavior. Transform these ideas into robust user flows and intuitive, delightful screens.
2. Hands-On Design. Be involved at every stage of the design process from discovery through detailed design, execution, and iteration. Produce user flows, wireframes, pixel-perfect designs, and prototypes.
3. Collaboration. Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring designs to life. Contribute to R1’s design standards and create new UI components and design patterns.
4. Detail-Oriented. Ensure attention to detail in producing multiple design iterations to achieve the best solution. Present design concepts clearly and confidently to various audiences.
5. Growth Mindset. Actively contribute to meetings with compelling viewpoints, foster a collaborative environment, and demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to question established norms.

Must-Have Skills

1. Experience. 4-5 years in Digital Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX and design skills through case studies.
2. Expertise. Deep understanding of user flows, task flows, and IA diagrams. Ability to design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing products.
3. Collaboration. Proven ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Business, and CX teams.
4. Presentation. Skilled in presenting design concepts and solutions, and receptive to constructive feedback.
5. Design Fundamentals. Proficient in type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other design principles.
6. Passion. Enthusiasm for design trends, tools, processes, and a commitment to continuous learning and sharing ideas.

Good to Have Skills

1. Education. Relevant degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
2. Industry Experience. Background in healthcare or insurance enterprise product design.
3. Workshop Facilitation. Experience in planning and moderating goal-oriented workshops.
4. Web Design. Knowledge of designing responsive web platforms and large-scale digital ecosystems.
