We are seeking a Product Designer II to join our Database Migration Services team. This role focuses on designing intuitive and effective solutions for transferring data between different database systems, including moving from on-premise to cloud-based platforms or between various database management systems (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL). As a Product Designer II, you will.

• Contribute to the growth and success of our design team.
• Collaborate with fellow designers to maintain consistency across user experiences.
• Articulate and document design directions clearly for team members, senior management, and stakeholders.
• Develop user-centric designs grounded in user needs, tasks, and business requirements.
• Partner with design, development, and program management teams to ensure that interaction and visual designs meet technical and performance specifications.
• Coordinate with user researchers to test designs, interpret results, and refine designs accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with developers during the implementation phase to ensure the design vision is realized.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and incorporate feedback to enhance design solutions.
• Communicate design directions and decisions clearly to stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product or service design, or equivalent experience demonstrating design thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Strong visual design skills and conceptual thinking.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or Sketch, and familiarity with rapid prototyping platforms like InVision or Principle.
• Experience with structured design systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Additional skills in information visualization, illustration, motion graphics, animation, or video are a plus.
