As a Product Designer 2 at Microsoft Teams, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and designing compelling experiences that empower frontline customers to achieve more together. Collaborating with a highly creative team of user researchers and product and visual designers, you'll have the opportunity to shape the core experiences of Microsoft Teams, a chat-based collaboration app that is reshaping how people work together.
Responsibilities
- Create mocks, wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and other elements to support interaction design.
- Act as a liaison between users and products, participating in product UX improvements by creating interaction models.
- Communicate and present work and learnings to peers and managers within the studio team, articulating user needs and recommending ideas for a compelling narrative.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, program managers, and developers, to define product features.
- Participate in Experience Reviews and collaborate with Engineering to ensure design quality, challenging design limitations when necessary.
- Manage ambiguity and be self-directed in your approach to work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years of experience in product or service design or equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field AND 5+ years of experience OR Master's Degree AND 3+ years of experience in product or service design.
- 2+ years of experience shipping products, services, or games.
