Job Description

As a Principal UX Designer, you will lead a talented team in crafting exceptional user experiences across Salesforce's product suite. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership. Manage and develop a team of designers, nurturing their talent and encouraging innovative thinking.
  2. Vision Communication. Influence and articulate design vision to stakeholders at various levels.
  3. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration. Build strong partnerships across Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to solve complex UX design challenges.
  4. User Research & Testing. Collaborate with product owners to validate assumptions and identify opportunities through user testing and research.
  5. Design Execution. Work alongside engineering teams to deliver polished final products while evangelizing interface guidelines and design patterns.
  6. Design-Thinking Culture. Reinforce a culture of design thinking that leverages the best technologies and innovative talent.

Experience / Skills Required

  1. Extensive Experience. 10+ years of experience in UX design with a proven track record of managing products from concept to release.
  2. Management Experience. 3+ years in a leadership role, with a passion for mentoring designers.
  3. User-Centered Design. Deep understanding of user-centered design methods, with a drive to continuously improve processes.
  4. Agility. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environments.
  5. Influential Leadership. Power to influence others and build consensus amid ambiguity.
  6. Analytical Skills. Experience in using analytics and user research to inform design decisions.
  7. Design Tools. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  8. Education. BA/BS or MA/MS in a design-related field or equivalent experience.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with design systems and CRM or enterprise software.
