As a Quantitative Research Principal, you will play a pivotal role in addressing complex business challenges through quantitative research. This individual contributor position involves working closely with researchers, advisors, and senior executives to identify and produce research that has a global impact. You will manage and analyze proprietary data from Gartner's diagnostic and benchmarking products, leveraging your expertise to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with executives from Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies to understand their business challenges and translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Lead and implement best practices in the design, execution, and delivery of diagnostic and benchmarking products.
- Communicate and present analytical insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Automate assessment reports for Gartner clients using Python.
- Product manage and collaborate with clients on deploying Gartner’s diagnostic and benchmarking products.
- Guide clients through the entire value chain of benchmarking and diagnostic products.
- Transform research results and data analysis into clear narratives and visually compelling presentations.
What You’ll Need
- Education. Master’s degree (preferred) with 5-7 years of experience in an analytics-heavy field such as Economics, Statistics, or Policy Analysis, or a Bachelor’s degree with 6-9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience. Proven track record in research and project management, with expertise in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
Skills
- Proficiency in data management, cleaning, merging, and appending.
- Expertise in statistical methods, including descriptives, bivariate, linear, and logistic regression.
- Experience in designing research surveys and creating graphical data representations.
- Direct client interaction experience.
- Strong Python coding skills.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical/coding packages (e.g., R, SPSS) for complex analytics such as multi-variate and logistic regressions, cluster analysis, and factor analysis.
