As a Principal Developer on the Google Cloud Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in technical sales, engaging with key stakeholders in the telecommunications industry. You will leverage your deep expertise in cloud computing to articulate the value of Google Cloud, assist in architectural design, and overcome technical challenges to drive customer adoption.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate advisory relationships with strategic accounts, engaging with Developers, Vice Presidents of Development, Chief Technology Officers, and Chief Information Officers.
- Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and insight to customers on Google Cloud solutions through product briefings, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and collaborative solution design.
- Collaborate closely with product management to prioritize features and enhancements that directly impact customer adoption and satisfaction.
- Conduct demonstrations and prototypes of Google Cloud product integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and application infrastructure that align with best practices on Google Cloud.
- Travel as necessary to customer sites, conferences, and events to support customer engagements and showcase Google Cloud capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a technical sales developer role within a cloud computing environment or similar customer-facing capacity.
- Proven experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders in the telecommunications industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data, with insights into cloud market trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the enterprise technology buying and evaluation process.
- Expertise in designing, developing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
- Ability to deliver results through cross-functional collaboration and orchestration of solutions involving multiple products.
- Strong influencing skills to drive customer engagements and identify expansion opportunities within accounts.
- Aptitude for learning and adapting to new technologies, methodologies, and solutions within the Cloud/IT technology space.
