The MCU/MPU Engineering team specializes in defining and developing System on Chip (SoC), ASICs, Digital and Analog IPs for a diverse range of products, including automotive microprocessors, application processors, microcontrollers, and network processors.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on management of physical verification and/or IR drop-EM closure for SoCs.
- Evaluate and implement evolving methodologies for physical verification and IR-EM to handle complex SoC/IP designs within aggressive timelines.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards across all project stages, striving for 'Zero Defect' chips.
- Drive analysis of current processes, recommending and implementing improvements based on project and learning experiences.
- Collaborate effectively within local and multi-site teams.
Key Skills
- Self-starter with 10-15 years of experience in chip-level physical verification and/or IR drop-EM for multimillion-gate and complex designs.
- Expertise in
- Full chip run setup, analysis, and signoff.
- LVS, DRC, ERC, soft check, PERC, DFM, etc.
- IR drop & EM analysis at both full chip and block levels, including power grid design.
- Independent debugging of physical verification and IR-EM issues.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PERL/TCL/Python is essential.
- Working knowledge of floor-planning/APR tools is advantageous.
