Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions, ensuring they meet the strategic goals of our customers. You will engage directly with customers, collaborate with internal teams, and drive the adoption of Microsoft technologies while also ensuring the quality and scalability of the solutions delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Drive opportunities to expand and accelerate the adoption of Microsoft technologies by developing and presenting value propositions for Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Solution Architects, Sales) to shape opportunities, influence budget estimates, and propose solutions that meet customer business needs.
  • Lead the creation of proposals and Statement of Work (SOW) documents, engaging with customers to close deals.
  • Provide pre-sales support and collaborate with stakeholders to refine solution offerings and map customer needs to Dynamics 365 capabilities.
  • Lead the architecture and design of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions, ensuring alignment with customer business needs and industry standards.
  • Guide customers and internal teams in the creation of scalable and sustainable solutions, translating complex business requirements into actionable work packages.
  • Provide functional and technical leadership, mentoring the project team, including developers and analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Apply structured problem-solving strategies to identify and implement solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform.
  • Ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to by monitoring financial costs, risks, and issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up to date on D365 F&O updates and features, incorporating them into solutions where appropriate.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency on project progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Build and manage executive-level relationships with customers and partners, proactively addressing any concerns or escalations.
  • Manage change initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Intellectual Property Management

  • Act as an ambassador for intellectual property (IP) related to Dynamics 365 solutions, identifying areas for new content development and optimization.
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal resources by reviewing and curating IP for future consumption.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing
  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions, both internally and externally, to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing thought leadership and guidance to help grow their expertise.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Complete operational tasks in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to Microsoft's policies and compliance standards.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and guiding team members on best practices, readiness, and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in implementing and leading Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O architecture, capabilities, and customization.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale D365 migrations or implementations.
  • Experience in retail operations and an understanding of retail-specific processes and challenges.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and design effective solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O (or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and Azure technologies.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific trends and the ability to innovate within the D365 ecosystem.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
