As a Power BI Developer, you will be part of the IT PMO team at Andela, where you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced Power BI reports, integrating them with multiple work management tools, and enabling real-time data insights for business leaders. This role is crucial in helping executives make informed decisions by leveraging well-structured data representations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Power BI Report Development. Create complex and visually engaging Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, data modeling, and advanced functionalities.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration. Work closely with various teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into actionable insights.
3. Real-time Data Insights. Ensure that executives and decision-makers have access to up-to-date, real-time analytics for better strategic planning.
4. Tool Integrations. Seamlessly integrate Power BI with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and other work management tools to create a unified reporting environment.
5. KPI Tracking. Design dashboards that effectively capture and represent key project performance indicators (KPIs).
6. UI & UX Excellence. Ensure that the dashboards are user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing for the best user experience.
7. Attention to Detail. Maintain accuracy and consistency in data representation while optimizing performance for large datasets.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

1. Strong Power BI Expertise. Advanced knowledge of DAX, data modeling, Power BI features, and functionality.
2. JIRA Experience. Familiarity with using JIRA for project management and tracking.
3. Azure DevOps Proficiency. Experience working with Azure DevOps and integrating it with BI solutions.
4. Project KPIs Knowledge. Ability to define, track, and analyze key performance indicators.
5. UI/UX Skills. Ability to design dashboards that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally efficient.
6. Attention to Detail. A keen eye for data accuracy, visualization, and report optimization.
