We are seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer with a passion for database development, ETL processes, and reporting applications. In this role, you will work closely with business partners to deliver efficient data processing solutions, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Database Development & Optimization. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to ensure data integrity while maximizing database performance. Define and manage table indexes, schemas, and conversion of MSSQL table schemas to XSD format.
2. ETL Processes & Data Warehousing. Develop and maintain data processing and ETL components for distributed database systems. Manage and enhance ETL processes for updating data warehouses, ensuring smooth data integration.
3. Database Design & Reporting. Design and develop both logical and physical databases, understanding the impact of changes on physical storage. Create application schemas to support business intelligence applications and develop reporting applications.
4. Scripting & Production Support. Develop scripts to support production operations and troubleshoot data processing applications. Implement and manage Java web applications and services when necessary.
5. Technology Research & Innovation. Participate in research, proof-of-concept testing, and technology roadmap development. Propose innovative solutions to enhance technology efficiency.

Desired Skills & Expertise

1. PL/SQL & SQL Expertise. Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, including writing complex SQL queries, scripting, and optimization. Ability to perform performance tuning of database applications.
2. ETL Tools. Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or DataStage. A deep understanding of data processing workflows is essential.
3. Data Warehousing & Modeling. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and how to ensure accurate data flow through the system.
4. Data Quality & Profiling. Expertise in data profiling, analysis, and quality assurance to maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
5. Java Knowledge. Familiarity with core Java or other 4GL languages like Powerhouse is an added advantage. Experience in developing Java-based applications is a plus.
6. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills. Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex database issues.
7. Communication & Collaboration. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

1. Power BI Experience. Exposure to Power BI and the ability to design basic reports and dashboards. This includes.
   1. Report & Dashboard Design. Assist in creating visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards.
   2. Data Visualization. Select the best visualizations for data clarity and aesthetics.
   3. Data Integration & Validation. Integrate data from multiple sources and validate it against business rules for consistency and accuracy.
   4. Documentation. Maintain thorough documentation for reports, data sources, and transformation processes.
