Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service) Consultant to join our team, assisting clients in optimizing their revenue management processes using Oracle Cloud solutions. This role is integral to helping businesses streamline their finance, supply chain, and IT operations by implementing Oracle’s RMCS solutions and driving digital transformation.

As an Oracle RMCS Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements, configuring and customizing the Oracle RMCS module, and ensuring smooth integration with other Oracle Cloud modules. You will also provide guidance on industry best practices and contribute to the successful implementation of Oracle solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering workshops with clients to understand their revenue management processes and business needs.
  • Document business processes, conduct fit-gap analysis, and design "as-is" and "to-be" business process flows.
  • Run client workshops and demos for requirements gathering, process design, and best practices.
  • Configure Oracle RMCS and related Oracle Cloud modules (Order Management, Subscription Management, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Projects) to ensure efficient revenue management processes.
  • Design and implement custom agent workflows and reporting solutions to meet client specifications.
  • Support the integration of RMCS with other Oracle modules for seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  • Develop test scripts, conduct functional testing, and support the validation of system integrations.
  • Participate in cutover activities and ensure successful deployment of Oracle RMCS modules.
  • Ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements through proper configuration and testing.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements in areas such as order management, shipment execution, freight settlements, and revenue recognition.
  • Provide recommendations on how clients can optimize their revenue management operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on Oracle RMCS implementation best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, collaborating with both clients and internal project teams to deliver project milestones.
  • Attend training sessions and career development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and Oracle updates.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication with clients to ensure project milestones and expectations are met.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering recommendations on how to achieve business goals through the use of Oracle RMCS.
  • Drive client conversations independently and manage project timelines to closure.

Required Qualifications

  1. Experience. 4-9 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS).
  2. Functional Expertise. Strong hands-on knowledge of RMCS functionalities, including revenue recognition, contract management, and billing.
  3. Oracle Cloud Integration. Experience integrating RMCS with other Oracle Cloud modules such as Order Management, Subscription Management, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Projects.
  4. Client-Facing Experience. Proven ability to work directly with clients, drive requirement gathering sessions, and lead client workshops.
  5. Process Design and Customization. Experience in fit-gap analysis, business process design, functional configuration, customization, and deployment of Oracle RMCS.
  6. Communication Skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  7. Testing and Support. Experience in creating test scripts, supporting testing phases, and managing deployment activities.
  8. Leadership Skills. Ability to lead a workstream or manage key components of Oracle Cloud implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Oracle Projects modules is preferred.
  • Experience working in an onsite-offshore model.
  • Experience leading the full lifecycle of Oracle application implementations or upgrades.

Educational Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
