Job Description

As a Level 2 Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional technical support to both internal teams and customers. 

Responsibilities

  1. Providing Technical Support. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to .NET development, Shell Scripting, Windows environments, Linux, and SQL databases.
  2. Issue Resolution. Work swiftly to identify root causes and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime.
  3. System Maintenance. Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance, and updates to ensure optimal performance across systems.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams. Work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
  5. Documenting Technical Solutions. Maintain clear documentation for common issues and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  6. ITIL Practices. Apply ITIL methodologies in managing incidents, service requests, and change management.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. Experience. 3+ years of experience as a Level 2 Support Engineer with a focus on .NET development and troubleshooting.
  2. Technical Expertise. Proficiency in .NET technologies, Shell Scripting, and deep knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
  3. Database Knowledge. Solid understanding of SQL and experience in managing and troubleshooting database-related issues.
  4. Problem Solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving technical issues.
  5. Additional Knowledge. Familiarity with BMC Remedy and ITIL practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Immediate joiners are highly preferred, but we are open to candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days.
  • Prior experience in .NET Support roles is highly preferred.
