As a Level 2 Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional technical support to both internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Providing Technical Support. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to .NET development, Shell Scripting, Windows environments, Linux, and SQL databases.
- Issue Resolution. Work swiftly to identify root causes and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime.
- System Maintenance. Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance, and updates to ensure optimal performance across systems.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams. Work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
- Documenting Technical Solutions. Maintain clear documentation for common issues and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- ITIL Practices. Apply ITIL methodologies in managing incidents, service requests, and change management.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience. 3+ years of experience as a Level 2 Support Engineer with a focus on .NET development and troubleshooting.
- Technical Expertise. Proficiency in .NET technologies, Shell Scripting, and deep knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
- Database Knowledge. Solid understanding of SQL and experience in managing and troubleshooting database-related issues.
- Problem Solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving technical issues.
- Additional Knowledge. Familiarity with BMC Remedy and ITIL practices is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred, but we are open to candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days.
- Prior experience in .NET Support roles is highly preferred.
