We are looking for a seasoned .NET Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join a newly formed squad. You will play a critical role in delivering a cutting-edge, cloud-based solution that integrates and aligns CommSec customer data management with the platform and services used by CBA Group Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM).

In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in cloud platforms, development frameworks, and API testing to support the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud solutions. Experience. 10+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Platform Expertise. Leverage your expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-based applications.
• Backend Development. Develop and maintain backend services using .NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server.
• API Development. Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication across platforms.
• Message Streaming. Utilize Kafka for building high-throughput, fault-tolerant, distributed event streaming platforms.
• Containerization & Orchestration. Deploy and manage microservices using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Version Control & CI/CD. Follow Git workflows for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Testing & Quality Assurance. Work with Playwright for E2E UI and API testing to ensure product quality. Knowledge of Swagger for API documentation is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Cloud Platforms. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
2. Development Frameworks. Expertise in .NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server.
3. Messaging & Orchestration. Proficient in Kafka, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
4. Version Control. Proficient in using Git and managing Git workflows.
5. API Development & Testing. Experience with RESTful APIs, Swagger, and Playwright for automated testing.
6. Software Testing. Experience with nUnit for unit testing in .NET environments.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Swagger for API documentation.
• Experience with Playwright for both UI and API automated testing.
