We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Technical Team Lead – SEO to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in digital marketing and SEO who excels in leading technical teams and driving the successful implementation of SEO strategies. As a Technical Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing our technical team, enhancing SEO performance, and delivering outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management. Lead, mentor, and support the technical team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- SEO Strategy Development. Create and implement effective SEO strategies to boost organic search performance and drive traffic to clients’ websites.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure seamless execution of SEO initiatives.
- Trend Monitoring. Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing and SEO trends, ensuring the team is updated and well-trained on new developments.
- Performance Analysis. Monitor and analyze website metrics, using data to refine strategies and improve performance.
- Team Development. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Project Management. Oversee project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
- Client Communication. Maintain effective communication with clients, offering updates and insights on project progress and results.
- Technical Troubleshooting. Address and resolve SEO-related technical issues to ensure optimal website functionality.
Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience. Minimum of 2 years in digital marketing and SEO, with proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- SEO Expertise. In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, tools, and techniques, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and link building.
- Analytical Skills. Strong ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Technical Proficiency. Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs) and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website development processes.
- Communication Skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Organizational Skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership. Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Channels. Experience with PPC, social media marketing, and content marketing.
