As an Application Developer at IBM, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of customized systems that meet the business needs of our clients. You will work within Microsoft Cloud environments, utilizing the latest cloud technologies to deliver high-quality solutions in an agile setup. Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of individual components and deliver them to meet customer specifications.
- Develop and integrate Microsoft Cloud applications using Azure services and ADF (Azure Data Factory).
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team in delivering high-quality project features.
- Collaborate with other developers, project managers, and technical leads to design and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
- Work effectively both individually and as part of a team to ensure the success and satisfaction of clients.
- Help the team deliver project features with high quality while meeting deadlines and customer expectations.
- Leverage your expertise to provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Help drive innovation within the team by identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting new technologies or processes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong proficiency with SQL, ADF (Azure Data Factory), and Azure Data Bricks.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience in developing applications in a cloud-based environment, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Solid understanding of application development life cycles, from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing clear technical guidance and support.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud microservices architectures and tools like Eureka, Hystrix, Zuul API Gateway.
- Familiarity with In-Memory Storage and efficient handling of data across large-scale systems.
