We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – ETL with 12-16 years of expertise to join our ETL Development team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of our centralized data warehouse solutions. Your role will involve overseeing ETL processes, data architecture solutions, and driving optimization and automation across our products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership. Manage a team of ETL professionals, providing strategic guidance and aligning their efforts with organizational goals across various functional areas.
2. ETL Design & Development. Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of ETL processes and data integration solutions. Utilize tools such as SSIS, Azure Databricks, and SparkSQL to develop and maintain ETL workflows.
3. Technical Expertise. Be hands-on with technical work, optimizing ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
4. Process Improvement. Drive improvements in business processes through re-engineering and redesign, enhancing overall efficiency.
5. Collaboration. Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure end-to-end delivery of solutions.
6. Governance. Adhere to company policies and IT governance processes while implementing improvements in methodologies.

Qualifications

1. Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience. 12-16 years in ETL development and data integration with expertise in SSIS, T-SQL, Azure Databricks, or similar tools.
3. Technical Skills. Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms, Big Data technologies, and data modeling. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake is required. Knowledge of Scala, SparkSQL, and Airflow is preferred.
4. Leadership. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
5. Methodology. Experience with agile methodologies.
6. Industry Experience. Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
