Airtel Digital Limited is seeking talented Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to join their AI team in Gurgaon. This role focuses on developing scalable ML systems that power core features in apps like Wynk Music and XStream. The AI team at Airtel Digital is committed to enhancing user experiences through cutting-edge AI technologies.

Experience. 2-5 years

Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Lifecycle Management. Manage the entire lifecycle of building data pipelines and machine learning applications, from requirements gathering and design to model training and production deployment.
2. Development of Scalable Models. Build scalable machine learning models to analyze and optimize large datasets, contributing to strategic business decisions.
3. Ownership of ML Products. Take individual ownership of ML products, pipelines, and related metrics, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
4. Collaboration. Work closely with stakeholders across Tech, including Search & Discovery pods, Data Engineering, Product teams, and other business units.

Skill Set

1. Deep Learning Expertise. Proven experience deploying models in production environments using frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch. Familiarity with architectures like CNNs, LSTMs, and Transformer models.
2. Traditional ML. Strong background in traditional ML algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Boosting methods, SVMs, and clustering techniques.
3. Software Development. Proficiency in Python programming, with skills in debugging, design, and managing production environments.
4. Mathematical Understanding. Solid grasp of mathematical concepts underlying machine learning algorithms, with practical application experience.
5. Cloud and Big Data Platforms. Exposure to AWS services (Sagemaker, EC2, S3, EMR) and familiarity with distributed Cloud and Big Data platforms like PySpark.
6. ML Lifecycle Management. Knowledge of ML lifecycle and pipeline management tools such as MLFlow and AirFlow.
