As a Logistics Supervisor at Q-Express Documents Transport, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of service by driving both innovation and execution within our busy Transportation network. Your primary responsibility will be to support the overall daily management of operational duties, stepping in for the Operations Manager as required.

Your Responsibilities

• Deputize for the Operations Manager as necessary, supporting daily management of operational duties.
• Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station, supervising logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure adherence to operational KPIs.
• Monitor coordinator and associate performance, providing coaching when needed and partnering with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
• Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise the bar on quality deliverables.
• Conduct candidate interviews for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor the workload of drivers and associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed.
• Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics, assisting the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
• Assist with training and mentoring new associates and resolve process-related issues as needed.
• Be flexible to work different shifts and overtime when necessary.
• Ensure sufficient personnel resourcing of the function, including training needs, absence and performance management, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience managing teams.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics.
• Experience with data analysis.
